Latest premium smartphones to choose from

Every year, the top smartphone brands introduce new flagship model variants with the latest upgrades. From body design to core components, each phone serves a specific purpose; be it for gaming, photography, or overall use. But having a variety of options can only make the task of upgrading your old phone more difficult. Here are some of the best and premium picks in the Android and iOS segment that are worth considering in 2022.

Samsung Galaxy S22
With the Samsung Unpacked event all set to unveil the new S22 series, here are some key spec rumors. The Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra will all feature 120HZ adaptive AMOLED Full HD display with screen size being the main aspect of difference. However, the S22 Ultra gets a major camera upgrade with a 108-megapixel rear main lens and a whopping 40-megapixel selfie setup. The S22 Ultra is also the only variant that will boast three different RAM configurations, internal storage options, and come with a massive 5000 mAh battery. Prices start at around $900 with an increase of around $200 in cost with every model upgrade right up to the Ultra.

OnePlus 10 Pro
OnePlus is back with another “knock your socks off” flagship that is a true ode to their timeless innovation in design and tech. Key upgrades include the 2 nd generation Hasselblad four lens camera setup, a 5000 mAh battery, the latest Snapdragon 888 Gen 1 processor, and a 120 Hz fluid AMOLED display. The OnePlus 10 Pro is 5G compatible, has an LPDDR 5 RAM, and latest Android 12 with an OxygenOS overlay. However, prices are still not confirmed for the base or Pro variants.

Apple iPhone 14
Trillion-dollar tech goliath Apple is several months away from introducing their newest iPhone 14 that is rumored to have changed beyond expectation. With facial ID being a key feature in Apple phones, the new 14 series might do away with the notch to accommodate an upgraded cutout hole design. A major upgrade would be the new A16 chip to power better camera and 5G capabilities. The iPhone 14 will also get a RAM and storage boost rivaling all existing models. Speculations about a thicker body might also eliminate the need for a bumpy camera housing unit, but that’s still just a rumor.
